Found in Bronvaux near Metz (France) of a medlar grafted on hawthorn in M. Dardar's garden. The second graft hybrid to occur on the same hawthorn was named Crataegomespilus Asnieresi by M. Lucien Daniel

Growth habit :

Small tree, wide-spreading, very thorny with medlar-like foliage

Foliage :

Flowers :

White flowers in corymb with 15 to 20 stamens

Small brown medlar-like fruits
